Text Box: All students are encouraged to practice self-discipline and develop a strong work ethic. Class time, used wisely, results in high academic achievement as well as provides valuable time to dedicate to other activities. Middle school students appreciate knowing specific requirements and react positively to well-defined class expectations and boundaries. Adolescents respond favorably to developmental stress when assisted by adult-set restrictions.

Students are required to arrive to class prepared and on time. To meet the needs of middle-school students, English class is very structured and disciplined.  Each student must have a class folder, a number of pencils (please no mechanical pencils), and at least two red pens (please no markers). Class time is used wisely, so come ready to work!
